About The Conference

It has often been said that managing a business can be better understood by having a knowledge of cultural traditions. The managerial Philosophy in any organization has an impact on the organization in future as well. Business Organizations and its studies, in fact, Commerce Industry and Commerce Education, both need to design their functions and practices balancing both – ancient knowledge of our cultural heritage as well as modern philosophies of the globalized economy. Today's education and business practices look for convergence of the traditional philosophy and modern way of doing business. Management of Business and Industry is becoming extremely challenging. The political, economic, business, finance and social environment are changing at a rapid pace. This rapidly changing canvas coupled with the strain of achievement makes the task of doing Business & Commerce daunting.

We generally look for solutions in such problems by trying to adopt models developed by researchers and educationist in modern times. We must draw strength from our vast heritage and come up with solutions to our problems. In this context, the treasure house of knowledge is in our scriptures. We must thus use those principles to solve our problems and also let the western world get enlightened by these vast seas of knowledge gathered by our sages over the centuries. India is one of the few countries having the longest history of culture, tradition and ethos. Ancient India was one of the leading countries in the world in trade. Our managers should remember its great heritage and base their roles in Industry based on Indian philosophy.
